🌑
There is a path the Church does not often preach but has always preserved.
It is not lit by spotlight, but by candle.
It winds through the desert, not the palace.
It is the path of the mystic.
The Dark Catholic walks this road.
We remember the ones who loved Christ in silence —
who wept in their cells,
sometimes felt abandoned by God,
yet kept praying.
Julian. John. Teresa. Hermas.
We walk with them.
We do not seek comfort, but consecration.
Not recognition, but revelation.
Not applause, but the Presence.
We trust that darkness is not the absence of God —
but the veil that guards His holiness.
And when we walk through it,
we are made holy too.
This is the mystic’s way.
It is the Dark Catholic way.
It begins in silence,
but ends in fire.
