🌳 Tree Wisdom: Listening with the Bones

In the Old Religion, wisdom isn’t shouted from pulpits.
It hums low in the roots,
waits patiently in the bark,
and leans toward you in silence.

The trees do not preach.
They don’t ask you to believe in them.
They simply are — enduring, reaching, remembering.

Each one holds a frequency, a teaching, a temperament.
Some ground you. Some challenge you. Some open the veil.

  • The Willow knows mourning and mercy.
  • The Oak stands as flamekeeper of endurance.
  • The Maple shows you sweetness held in stillness.
  • The Pine teaches what it means to carry green life through winter.

This is the quiet mystery of tree wisdom:
it doesn’t enter through the mind.
It speaks directly to the bones.

Lately, I’ve been sitting with the trees. Not asking questions, just listening.
And in return, they’ve reminded me: there is no rush to bloom.
Growth happens underground, in the dark, in spirals.
There’s wisdom in that.

The shamans knew the trees and somehow in our “advanced civilization” we have forgotten them. They are sentient beings, they do live in community and they can communicate in their own way with us.
